Cuba reported 695 new Covid-19 cases and two deaths
Cuba's Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP, in Spanish) reported Sunday 695 new Covid-19 cases and two deaths from complications from this pandemic.
Therefore, Cuba has reported 1,092,547 cases with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, which causes this disease, and 8,514 deaths since March, 2020.
According to the MINSAP update, 7,959 patients are in hospitals; 4,333 are suspected cases; 26 patients are in epidemiological surveillance; and there are 3,600 active cases.
Some 3,571 of them have a stable clinical evolution, whereas 8 are in intensive care units; 10 patients are in a critical state and 16 are gravely ill.
Some 649 patients were medically discharged on Saturday, so the number of recoveries in Cuba rose to 1,080,374, that is, 98.9 percent of cases in over two years of pandemic.
