Cuba reported 29 new Covid-19 cases

Havana, Jun 23 (Prensa Latina) Cuba reported today that in the last hours 29 people were detected with Covid-19, the total number of active cases in the country is 107 and no patient died as a result of the disease.

The Molecular Biology laboratories analyzed 2,606 samples to discover the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, The public Health Ministry reported.

Of the 107 active cases in the Island, 106 have a stable clinical evolution and there is one patient reported to be seriously ill who is being treated in intensive care.

With the 17 clinical discharges granted, the total number of recovered cases amounted to 1,97,151 and since the beginning of the pandemic, in March 2020, 1,105,846 cases were reported.

According to the official report, there were no deaths during the day as a result of the pandemic and the total number of deaths remains at 8,529.
