Cuba reported 110 new Covid-19 cases and no deaths

Havana, May 12 (Prensa Latina) Cuba on Thursday reported 110 cases with the SARS-Cov-2 coronavirus, which causes Covid-19, bringing the total number of cases to 104,316 since March, 2020.

No one died from this disease in the past few hours, so the death toll stands at 8,529, and 457 patients are still in hospitals.

According to the daily update by the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), 2,090 patients are in hospitals; 1,615 are suspected cases and 18 are under epidemiological surveillance.

Some 10 patients are in intensive care units; 2 of them are in a critical state and 8 are gravely ill.

Some 117 people were discharged in the past few hours, so the number of recoveries rose to 1,095,271, according to MINSAP.
