Cuba has renewed leadership of four sports federations, which are those related to canoeing, handball, table tennis and motorcycling, the Cuban Sports Institute (INDER) reported on Saturday.

On its Jit website, the INDER explained that the election assemblies of those federations took place in Havana, at the headquarters of the Cuban Olympic Committee (COC).

Barbaro Oliva was elected president of the Cuban Table Tennis Federation and Benito Jesus Rodriguez as its vice president, while Franklyn Salvador Guevara and Carlos Manuel Gonzalez were elected president and vice president of the Cuban Handball Federation, respectively.

Meanwhile, Alejandro Hamze was chosen to be the president of the Cuban Canoeing Federation and Yosniel Dominguez as its vice president, and Roberto Carbonell and Jose Peon as president and vice president of the Cuban Motorcycling Federation.

In all cases, COC President Roberto Leon Richards and INDER Vice President Ariel Sainz attended the meetings, Jit adds.
