The opening keynote speech “Preserving Cuba’s Documentary History at the BNJM,” will be given by Osdiel R. Ramírez, researcher-restorer of this cultural institution.

Also scheduled are the lectures on “Law No. 6/1942” and the preservation of documents in Cuba, “General Guidelines for the Preservation of Documentary Sources in the Republic of Cuba,” and “Count, Select, Preserve, Restore: Diagnosis for the Effective Preservation of Collections.”

The last minutes of Monday’s program is to inaugurate the exhibition “Entre Necesidad y Huella,” presented by the BNJM’s director Omar Valiño and curator Osdiel R. Ramírez.
