Cuba announces concerts and presentations of artists

Havana, Nov 30 (Prensa Latina) The Cuban Music Institute announced an extensive program of concerts and performances by artists until December 4 nationwide.

On December 1, at 4:00 p.m., local time, Cuban guitarist Luis Molina will perform with the Havana Polyphonic Choir at the Argeliers Leon Hall in the El Vedado municipality in Havana.

Meanwhile, the Havana Brass quintet will give a concert in which it will be accompanied by the Gloriam Brass sextet, from Croatia, at the Gonzalo Roig Hall of the National Lyric Theater on December 3.

On the same day, a recital by the Camerata Vocale Sine Nomine and the Schola Cantorum Coralina will take place at the Minor Basilica of the Saint Francis of Assisi Convent, in Old Havana, as a tribute to the latter.

As part of the program, Cuban pianist Lisa Blanco will give a concert with guitarist Patricia Diaz and flutist Jose Alvarez at Havana’s Ignacio Cervantes Hall at the so-called Palacio de los Matrimonios on Prado Avenue, while the Cuban duo D’Accord will perform with guitarist Carlos Varona at the Casa del ALBA Cultural, both on December 4.
