Cuba: 12 People Still Hospitalized after Explosion at Saratoga Hotel

According to the latest report of the health institution, of the 99 injured, 46 lost their lives in the incident, while 41 have already been discharged from the hospital.
Among those hospitalized there are eight adults: five men and three women; one in critical condition, three in serious condition and four in stable condition.
Of the four minors hospitalized, two are in serious condition and the other two are in care, the source said.
The total number of deaths was 46, 25 males and 21 females, four children, a pregnant woman and a Spanish citizen.
Cuba reiterated its gratitude to all the agencies, organizations and people in general for their support to the actions carried out with the patients and their families, as well as the concern shown for those hospitalized.
The emblematic Saratoga hotel suffered on May 6 at around 11:00 local time a partial collapse caused by an explosion when a tanker truck carrying liquefied gas was serving the facility.
