Havana, Mar 17 (Prensa Latina) Mozambique´s Deputy Attorney General (AG) Alberto Paulo on Thursday praised significance of cooperation among nations to crack down on transnational organized crime, during the 15th International Meeting on Criminal Sciences that is being held in Cuba.

In statements to the press, Paulo stated that crime knows no bounds, so that´s why it is critical for nations to join forces and fight off all these scourges including terrorism, money laundering and drug trafficking.

Paulo also said this majestic event is all-importance since it allows participants to be more acquainted with other nations´ experiences and to reflect on what actions can be taken to combat crime.

Mozambican delegation spoke in different panels on actions taken in their country regarding criminal sciences, as well as the Public Prosecutor’s Office´s assignments.

Plus, Paulo stressed he is too interested in Cuba´s legislative reform since Mozambique is currently facing a similar process to strengthen institutions and defend people´s rights.
