Bridges of Love to donate pounds of milk for Children´s Hospital

Holguín, Cuba, Aug 19 (Prensa Latina) The Bridges of Love project will donate thousands of pounds of powdered milk for a Children´s Hospital in Holguín Province, eastern Cuba.

The Project´s Representative Roberto Yis told Prensa Latina this donation to the Children´s Hospital was made possible by collaboration of many Cuban-Americans, friends and influencers living in the U.S., and who have been deeply involved in one way or another in the solidarity campaign to bring food to Cuba´s several hospitals.

Yis stressed that with this small, but significant donation, they have tried to open holes in the genocidal economic, financial and commercial blockade imposed by the US government on Cuba.

Regarding the process of bringing food to Cuba, Yis assured it was too cumbersome; however, it´s a task made with love, kindness and by the efforts of many to help the Cuban people.

Through the Food-for-Cuba campaign, essential products have been sent to other Cuban centers including nursing homes and daycare centers.
