La Paz, May 27 (Prensa Latina) Bolivian president, Luis Arce, expressed his happiness with his presence in Cuba in order to participate in the XXI Summit of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People's Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP).

“It is a joy to arrive to the beloved Cuban land, cradle of dignified women and men, to participate in the XXI ALBA-TCP Summit. Within the framework of the Bolivarian ideal, we will study development strategies and analyze the regional political situation. Long live our #PatriaGrande!” the president wrote on his Twitter account.

Arce arrived at José Martí International Airport yesterday at 23:10 (local time) and was received by the Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez, with the corresponding military honors, according to images from the state-run Bolivia TV channel.

In statements to the press, the Vice Minister of Communication, Gabriela Alcón, reported that the president will make his speech this morning and in the evening he will return to Bolivia in order to continue his national agenda. Alcón announced that on Saturday the president has scheduled a working day in the department of Santa Cruz.

The Cuban Foreign Minister reported that in the Summit today “the nations that make up our Alliance will share common development strategies and will analyze the regional political situation”.
