Antonio Guerrero, one of the Five Cuban anti-terrorist Heroes, during his brief stay on Monday in the municipality of Majagua, in the central province of Ciego de Avila, recalled fragments of a letter sent by him to Commander in Chief Fidel Castro in which he stated that they had never stopped being in Cuba.

In a visit to Luis Miguel Ceballo Calvo, a young man with physical limitations, with whom he corresponded during the years of imprisonment in the jails of the United States, Tony expressed to the people of the Los Rusos neighborhood of this town, who gathered on Fifth Street, that the historic leader of the Revolution never abandoned them and that dedication strengthened them in their determination to return to their homeland.

Visibly moved, and hand in hand with Luis Miguel, he said that despite the fact that this December 17 is the seventh anniversary of their return to Cuba, they continue to be surprised by the affection of the people wherever they go and it is like having the presence of the Commander, who lives in the actions of each one of them.

He emphasized that today they are living complex moments, because the hatred that the Miami pack of hounds manifested to the Five is the same that they shout about the people of Cuba whom they want to suffocate and confuse, especially their youth, but when one is faithful to the history of the Homeland there is no imperialism that can defeat them.

To the young man and to the maximum representation of the Municipal Committee of the Party, who gathered in that neighborhood, Antonio gave copies of his book, which he recently presented in the city of Ciego de Avila, entitled Nunca habrá soledad para ti, a text that collects through the correspondence maintained with his mother Mirtha Rodríguez, the story of the first 17 months that he remained in the "hole" (isolation cell) of the Federal Detention Center of Miami, like his other four companions of cause.

Luis Miguel, with the joy that characterizes him, told the Cuban News Agency that meeting Tony is already a dream come true and he hopes that soon he will be able to do it with Gerardo Hernández, René González and Fernando González, because last October he shared with Ramón Labañino.

This young man, who has suffered since birth from cerebral palsy that keeps him bound to a wheelchair, intervened in many scenarios to demand the release of the Five and explain with arguments, the true intention of the U.S. government to keep them imprisoned with unjust and excessive sentences.

Antonio Guerrero also participated with Ramón Labañino, and the main authorities of the municipality of Ciego de Avila, in the constitution of a local development project that will restore and give greater benefits to the reference kilometer of the Júcaro to Morón Trail, which will contribute a lot to the visitors in the knowledge of the patriotic history.

The two of them and René González celebrated the seventh anniversary of their return to Cuba together with the people of Avila in the inauguration of socioeconomic works and local development projects.
