Another day of decrease of Covid-19 cases in Cuba

Havana, May 11 (Prensa Latina) For the second consecutive day, Cuba reported fewer than a hundred positive cases of the SARS-Cov-2 virus, which causes Covid-19, on this occasion 96, for a total of 104,206 confirmed cases since March 2020.

One person died as a result of the disease, for a total of 8,529 deaths, while 464 patients remain active in hospitals.

According to the daily report of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap, in Spanish), a total of 2,071 patients have been admitted, 1,583 are suspected and 24 are under surveillance.

Seven patients are being treated in the intensive care wards, two in critical condition and five in serious condition.

In the last hours, 142 patients were discharged, which brings the total number of patients recovered from the disease to 1,095,154, according to Minsap.
