Havana, Jul 29 (Prensa Latina) The Cuban dance company ''Danza Contemporanea de Cuba'' - one of the major companies in this island - will today premiere two new pieces by local choreographers Julio Cesar Iglesias and Norge Cedeno.

Elements associated with freedom, lack of inhibition and attaining goals are the essence of 'La paredes se van' a piece by Iglesias. His works previously staged for the company are, 'La lluvia cae por el viento', 'Restaurante El Paso' and 'El cristal'.

Iglesias has long been promoting his skills as a choreographer and teacher in Germany and the Netherlands and is bringing his experience of European stages to Cuba .

Cedeno will present a piece characterized by the juxtaposition of feelings entitled 'DCCrama'. The piece will be staged along with 'Las paredes se van' on July 30th and 31st at the Alicia Alonso Gran Teatro in Havana.

The planned program - to celebrate the 90th birthday of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro - includes the restaging of the work 'Reversible', by Belgian-Colombian artist, Annabelle Lopez.
