Successful Ballet Pieces at Gran Teatro de La Habana Alicia Alonso

The performances are scheduled for March 17th, 18th and 19th with leading dancers Anette Delgado, Viengsay Valdes and Danni Hernandez, as well as other dancers of the company, founded here in 1948.

Dionaea, an outstanding work by Cuban choreographer Gustavo Herrera, will open the program followed by Celeste, by Belgian-Colombian Anabelle Lopez with music composed by Russian Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.

Meanwhile, the Grand pas Paquit, choreography by French Marius Petipa and music by Austrian Ludwig Minkus, will complete the performance of the company in the Hall Federico García Lorca at the Gran Teatro de La Habana.
