especiales
The public participating in these tours will be able to enjoy the beauty of the coliseum that was re-inaugurated last January 1 after a capital repair that lasted three years, besides the visit to all the multi-disciplinary spaces that are part of it.
The visits will be conducted from Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday, in the morning hours.
The Gran Teatro de La Habana has become a cultural complex that offers the public different options for their spiritual enrichment with the objective to promote its history and traditions.
Since its recent re-opening, the Center has protocol rooms for arts exhibits and events, the so called Café de la Ópera, a platform to celebrate cultural and recreational activities, a wine cellar to preserve national production wines and an arts gallery.
The restoration also favors the emblematic Room Federico García Lorca that, now with 1,300 seats and a new system of audio and lighting, will continue to be Cuba’s National Ballet home, for the pleasure of dance lovers.
Baptized as Alicia Alonso since September of 2015 in recognition of the prima ballerina assoluta’s contributions, the Gran Teatro de La Habana raises as the oldest active coliseum of Latin America, inaugurated on April 15 of 1838 as Gran Teatro de Tacón.
