The set list for El Cigala’s “Infinito” show at the Luis A. Ferre Performing Arts Center in the capital’s Santurce district will include a range of styles, including flamenco, tango and Latin American rhythms, concert organizers said Wednesday in a statement.

The three-time Grammy winner has brought a repertoire that spans a range of genres, including flamenco, Cuban Son, tango, bolero and Caribbean-inflected jazz, to audiences worldwide.

El Cigala will be returning to Puerto Rico after a controversial performance in the U.S. commonwealth in May, when local music critics and concert-goers complained that he was inebriated on stage.

The audience began walking out “due to the attitude shown by the artist, who consumed alcohol all night and in the middle of the show,” El Nuevo Dia, Puerto Rico’s highest circulation daily, reported then.

“We’re very sorry for the technical problems at the start of the concert, and we hope to return soon,” El Cigala, a Madrid native, wrote on Twitter a day after the concert.
