Conducta in a Tour Around Europe

According to Daranas’ words of gratitude, both awards recognize the work of the film’s Casting Director Mariela Lopez, the seven students from the Film Faculty from the University of Arts in Havana, who were given the hard task to find the children for Conducta, and very especially, to every and each child in the film.

Also in France, Conducta won the Audience Award in the Spanish and Latin American Film Festival of Grenoble, and this same award to the CIC Iberbanco Best Film during the 31^st edition of the Reflets du Cinéma Ibérique et Latino-américain de Villeurbanne and the Association Pour le Cinéma of France.

On the other side, Daranas’ work had its commercial premier in Europa in Switzerland with Trigon Films, a distributor that has a wide background when it refers to spreading Cuban cinema. The film has been on for four weeks now, thanks to the specialized critics and the warm welcome given by the audience.

Chala’s moving story has awakened the interest of distributors in France, Germany, Austria, Spain and Turkey. During May, it will have its commercial premier in Austria.

For April, Conducta has been selected to open, as a guest film, the International Film Festival of Istanbul and the International Festival of Panama.
