Havana, December 4 (RHC)-- Cuba will advocate for the need to act in defense of the planet and its increasingly extinct natural resources at the 25th United Nations Conference on Climate Change, COP25, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez said.

In a tweet, Rodriguez said that at the event,  underway in Madrid until Friday, December 13th, Cuba will defend the principle of common but differentiated responsibilities and the role that corresponds to assume developed countries by virtue of their historical responsibility.

The minister emphasized that this Conference of the Parties is taking place "at a time when the planet is dangerously approaching  a point of no return," referring to the current consequences of climate change, as well as the excessive action of man, which has brought with it the continuous depletion of natural resources.
