Cuba has denounced on Wednesday in the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) that the United States is promoting instability in several regions around the world, mainly against Latin American nations.

The Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, did so during the ministerial meeting prior to the 18th NAM Summit, which will be in session through tomorrow at the Boulevar Hotel in the Azerbaijani capital, next to the Caspian Sea.

Rodriguez Parrilla, before representatives of dozens of countries from several continents, exemplified through US actions, policies and interference that are currently affecting a great number of NAM´s member nations.

He referred to the recognition of the White House to Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and the occupied Syrian Golan as part of the Israeli territory, as well as the withdrawal of the United States from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on the Iranian nuclear program and the threat of military operation against Tehran.

These are some examples of the arbitrariness we are currently facing, Bruno said, and noted the imposition of 'unfair sanctions' on the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Washington does not cease its efforts to meddle into the internal affairs of the Latin American and Caribbean nations, publicly declaring the validity of the Monroe Doctrine, the Cuban Foreign Minister stated.
