Bradley was the first U.S. citizen that contracted the hemorrhagic fever while he was treating patients in Liberia. Specialists believe that the blood of people who survived the virus has antibodies that might help patients to tackle the disease.

Mukpo, who is one of the eight patients that have been treated in United States, was declared free of Ebola after he passed three consecutive Ebola tests.
