The live broadcast of the closing show of Bad Bunny’s residency at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí: Una Más, broke the record for the most-viewed performance by a solo artist on Amazon Music, the platform reported on Sunday.

Likewise, the production shattered all previous audience records and marked a historic milestone for both the streaming service and Latin music, Amazon Music highlighted in a statement released today.

According to the X account @BenitoSpotify, which reported on Saturday night, Bad Bunny’s performance drew more live views than rapper Kendrick Lamar’s concert The POP OUT.

Saturday night’s show, streamed exclusively on Amazon Music, Prime Video, and Twitch, represented the grand finale of Bad Bunny’s groundbreaking residency at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

“This broadcast, which has broken all records, brings global significance to an event that was already momentous in itself, as it represents the launch of a comprehensive initiative between Amazon and Bad Bunny to support Puerto Rico’s economic growth and education,” the company emphasized.

La Casita, a Tribute to Puerto Rico

Saturday’s show, the 31st of Bad Bunny’s three-month residency at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, was a complete sell-out and featured special performances, including Puerto Rican salsa legend Marc Anthony, who joined the urban artist in performing Preciosa, one of the island’s most emblematic songs.

Other guest performers included reggaeton stars Arcángel, De La Ghetto, and the duo Jowell & Randy; singer Rainao; plena group Los Pleneros de la Cresta; and the quartet Chuwi.

The production also featured La Casita, a structure built inside the arena of the San Juan coliseum, inspired by a traditional home from Puerto Rico’s mountainous regions. From this stage, Bad Bunny performed alongside his invited artists, while other prominent figures from film, music, and sports joined to celebrate the night.

Among those in attendance were Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Tommy Torres and former Olympian Javier Culson, bronze medalist in the 400-meter hurdles at the London 2012 Games.

The residency also attracted world-renowned personalities such as LeBron James, Kylian Mbappé, Achraf Hakimi, Penélope Cruz, Javier Bardem, Benicio del Toro, Paco León, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Tito Trinidad, and Piculín Ortiz, among others.
