More and more countries are coming to understand Russia’s position on Ukraine and the underlying causes of the special military operation, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov declared today.

In an interview with the TASS news agency on Monday, following his participation in the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), Peskov stated that over the past three years, the world has generally gained an understanding of the fundamental reasons behind Russia’s special military operation.

Peskov added that this shift is largely due to the efforts of President Vladimir Putin, who has consistently explained the causes of the conflict to his counterparts. “This is bearing fruit, as evidenced by the fact that more and more people are beginning to understand Moscow’s actions,” he said.

The 10th Eastern Economic Forum was held in the Russian city of Vladivostok from September 3 to 6. The main theme of EEF 2025 was “Far East: Cooperation for Peace and Prosperity.” The event was organized by the Roscongress Foundation, an entity operating under the Office of the President of Russia.
