The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) has released its updated men’s baseball world ranking following the U-12 Baseball World Cup.

The top nine countries maintained their positions from the previous ranking, with Japan remaining in first place. It is followed by Chinese Taipei, the United States, which won the U-12 World Championship, and South Korea.

The only movement in the ranking after the 2025 WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup was the swap between Australia and the Dominican Republic for the 10th and 11th positions, and Germany’s advancement ahead of China to 18th place.

The Dominican Republic finished fifth in the tournament for players under 12, which allowed it to climb one spot.

Mexico, which placed sixth in Tainan, is the highest-ranked Latin American nation in fifth place, followed by Venezuela and Puerto Rico, which did not participate in the latest world event.

Panama, eighth in the U-12 competition, held on to ninth place, while Cuba, seventh in the tournament, remained in 12th place.

Latin America now places six teams within the top 12, underscoring the quality of baseball in the region.
