Cuba recalls Lenin on his birthday anniversary

Roberto Morales Ojeda, Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) recalled today Vladimir Ilich Lenin on the 155th anniversary of his birth.
On X, the party leader stressed the importance of approaching the life, thought and example of the Russian revolutionary, who was the guide of the world proletariat.

Every year Cuba pays tribute to Vladimir Ilich Lenin (1870 - 1924) on the anniversary of his birth, with a ceremony on the hill in the Havana municipality of Regla that bears his name.
Lenin was the main leader of the October Revolution and the first leader of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.
Of his authorship stands out a theoretical and practical set based on Marxism known as Leninism and later called Marxism-Leninism.
On April 22, 1970, on the occasion of the centenary of the birth of Vladimir Ilich Lenin, the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz delivered a speech at a solemn evening held at the Chaplin Theater in Havana, where he stressed the admiration, recognition and affection of the Cuban people for the leader of the world proletariat.
