Cuba reported 9 new Covid-19 cases

Havana, Jun 20 (Prensa Latina) The Cuban Ministry of Public Health reported today that nine new cases of Covid-19 were detected in the Caribbean country, and no patient died as a result of the disease.

According to Monday’s closing report at 12:00 midnight, 25 medical discharges were granted and the number of recovered patients reached one million 106 thousand nine.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, in March 2020, one million 114 thousand 678 citizens suffered from the coronavirus.

The report specifies that 80 citizens are ill with Covid-19 throughout the country, while the number of deaths remains at 8,530.

A total of 90.8 percent of the Cuban population is fully vaccinated, while 8,753,230 people have booster doses.
