Havana, Oct 25 (Prensa Latina) The Havana Club Rum Museum in Havana was nominated for the World Travel Awards (WTA 2022), its directors said.
Museum Director Maria Caridad Velazquez noted that this award is considered the Oscars in Tourism and it is the second time that her institution has received international recognition in three months.
She recalled that in August, the Museum, which is one of the most visited sites in the city, won the Expert Choice Award, which recognizes companies and institutions consistently rated as outstanding.
Along with the history and explanation on the various Havana Club products, the museum, which opened on March 30, 2000, offers visitors other value-added services such as cocktail preparation and tastings, in an effort to promote good taste for a product linked to Cuban culture.
